Cody Jolliff is currently an undergraduate history student at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah , Oklahoma and is completing an internship as a Historic Interpreter at Fort Gibson Historic Site, part of the Oklahoma Historical Society. Cody is a member of the 6th Infantry Living History Association.  He interprets 19th century military and civilian life with an emphasis on 1840's field music. His impressions include military musicians from the United States Rifle Regiment of 1817, the Mexican American War and the American Civil War, among others. Cody’s programs focus on the use of music as a vital communication tool in the 19th century military through the use of the Bugle, Fife and Drum.  Military field music presentations are available through the 6th Infantry LHA by contacting www.6infantry.com.
